Stage 3 of the 2016 Tour of Britain starts in our very own market town of Congleton - the first time the borough has hosted a stage of the UK's premier cycling event. What's more, amateur enthusiasts can ride over 138km of the course in the Cheshire Tour of Britain Charity Sportive two days earlier on Sunday 4th September. Featuring many of the same roads & climbs with over 1500m total ascent, the sportive is an unmissable opportunity to race like the pros while supporting 2 local charities!
Online registration has now closed - but don't panic - you can still enter on the day!
- Simply make your way to Congleton High School on Sunday 4th
September with your £25 entry fee payable in cash or by cheque.
- Sign on begins at 07:30 - we recommend arriving as early as possible to
allow time for registration before the group starts from 08:00 until 09:00.
- Forecasted favourable weather conditions should make for an excellent
day’s riding, with highs of 17°C and rain probability of just 10%.
